Filmmaker James B. Harris has had an indelible impact on cinema, serving triple duty as a producer, director, and screenwriter. He partnered with Stanley Kubrick at the start of Kubrick’s career to produce the provocative classics The Killing, Paths of Glory, and Lolita. Harris then directed The Bedford Incident and made other features, working with such stars as Sidney Poitier, Richard Pryor, James Woods, Wesley Snipes, and Dennis Hopper.
